Who we are
This website is run by TASKWIRE LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17506472). Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ. We're responsible for any personal information you give us through it. You can contact us about your information at hello@taskwire.co.uk.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect:
- your name, email address and, if you give it, your phone number and business name
- the answers you pick in the form: the kind of organisation you are, what you want help with and any options you tick
- anything you write in the message box
- whether you've ticked the box saying you'd rather not get emails about our services
We don't use cookies or tracking on this website.
Why we use it
We use your details to reply to your enquiry, arrange a call and, if you go ahead, prepare a proposal. Our legal basis is that you've asked us to do this before we may enter into a contract with you.
Emails about our services
Because you've asked us about our services, we may send you occasional emails about similar services of ours, unless you ticked the box on the form saying you'd rather not. We'll only ever email you about Taskwire's own services, and we won't share your details with anyone else for marketing.
Every email has a link to unsubscribe, or you can email hello@taskwire.co.uk at any time. You have the right to object to these emails whenever you like, and we'll stop straight away.
Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in telling people who've shown an interest in our services about them. The law on electronic marketing allows this for people who've enquired about similar services, as long as they can say no when they give us their details and in every email we send.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. We only share it with companies that help us run this website and handle our email, and only so they can provide that service:
- Cloudflare, which runs this website and passes your enquiry on to us
- Resend, which sends your enquiry to our inbox
- Microsoft, which provides our email
- the email service we use to send emails about our services, if you haven't opted out
Cloudflare and Resend may handle your enquiry outside the UK while passing it on. They don't keep it to use for anything else, and the law requires them to protect it to UK standards.
How long we keep it
If your enquiry doesn't lead to any work, we delete your details after 12 months. If you haven't opted out of emails about our services, we keep your name and email address for that until you unsubscribe, or for 2 years after we last heard from you, whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe, we keep just your email address on a "do not email" list so we don't contact you again by mistake. If we do work together, we keep them for as long as we need to for that work and for our legal and accounting records.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that's wrong
- delete your information
- stop or limit how we use it
- stop sending you emails about our services
To do any of these, contact us using the details above. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
